She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert Oates; her children, Karl and Sharon Jacques; her brothers, Vincent, Cecil and Gus; her parents, Jim Carew and Gertrude Carew; her children, Noel (Carrie), Brian (Mary), Anne Marie (Norm), Lisa (Brian) and Yvonne; and her siblings, Stephen (Matilda), Reggie (Margie), Patrick (Patricia), Veronica (Willie), Irene (late Pius), Joan (Vic), Annie (late Harry) and Imelda (Austin).
