She was predeceased by: her husband Valentine (Val); her parents, Bill Hawkins and Hilda Hawkins; her sisters, Betty Welcher (Stan), Catherine Kenny (Fabian) and Lorraine Hawkins; her parents-in-law, John and C. Anne O'Keefe; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Clowe (Reginald), Nellie Duggan (John), Mildred Boland (Mikey), Tommy O'Keefe, John O'Keefe and Jim Barron.

She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie and Kim (Colin Swain); her grandchildren, Deanne (Tyler), Daniel (Keesha), Connor, Kaleb and Kiera; her great grandchild Zander; her children, Deanne and Daniel; her siblings, Theresa Lawlor (Albert), Janet Hawkins, Harold (Mary), Michael Hawkins (Helen) and Vince Hawkins; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine (Ed), Muriel, Lillian (Tolson), Marina O'Keefe, Pauline O'Keefe, Kenneth (Anne), Glen and Mark (Linda).

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice or simply make a kind gesture to help a neighbor in need, as this is what has given us strength.
