He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Dora Smith; and his son Bronson Burton (Wanda Randell). He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Verley Bishop, Bonetta (Jerry Manktelow), Alice Burton (Jim Reid), Marilyn (Don Snow) and Lorne Burton (Sherri Burton); and his grandchildren, Louise, Angie, Anita, Juanita, Janine, Steven, Pamela, Joshua, Crystal, Shauna and Douglas.
