He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Foss and Maude Foss; his parents-in-law, George and Lucy Bursey; his siblings, Bobby, Winnie, Woodrow, Everett, Bert, Joyce and Harold; his son Tony Roy; and his grandson Justin.

He is survived by: his brother Sawmill; his wife Glowena; his daughters, Viola Hill (Whyman), Shirley Randell (Welmore), Cindy Foss (Roy) and Shelley Keefe (Dale); his grandchildren, Jamie, Cordell, Crystal-Lynn, Ashley, Jordan, Christopher and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Brooke, Kyle, Nathan, Lucas, Jackson, Benjamin, Reese, Grayson, Bentley, Aiden and Malcolm.
