He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Hoddinott and Naomi Hoddinott; and his siblings, Daisy Hoddinott, Bernice Hutchings, Varrick Hoddinott (Baird) and Aubrey Hoddinott.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Perry; his children, Richard (Gail) and Mandy Rideout (Phil); his grandchildren, Riley (Catherine), Cody (Danielle), Shannon (Lucas) and Colin (Abigail); his great grandchild Deacon Hoddinott; his siblings, Greta, Phyllis Anstey (Kip), Alma Trickett (Don), Judy Canning (Ray), Sterling (Viola) and John (Cora); and his sister-in-law Verna Hoddinott. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Tabernacle.
