He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sheppard and Jane Sheppard; his wife Verna Farr; his siblings, Emily (Don) and Garf; and his siblings-in-law, Heber, Ruth (Ford) and Stella.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Nippard (Lloyd), Sharon Mews (Sterling), Kathy Wells (Brian), Tena Wells (Leon), Todd and Krista Hillier (Dean); his grandchildren, Jenny (Greg), Michael (Sarah), Cody (Robin), Kyle (Keisha), Nicole (Chris), Tyrone (Tiffany), Tammy (Matt) and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Brooklynn, Makaila, Gavin, Kayley, Sophia, Gage, Cade, Haley, Logan, Bryson, Nolan, Raquia and Raquel; his brother Bram (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Winston and Mabel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Families Funeral Home (9 Forward Dr, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Glad Tidings Tabernacle. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Community Cemetery.
