Mary Button Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 96, Mary Button of Eastport, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Martin of St. Chad's; her former husband Samuel Button of Wareham; her son John Martin of St. Chad's; her granddaughter Julia Martin of Calgary, AB; and her siblings, Minnie Troke of St. Chad's and Thomas Wicks.
She is survived by: her children, Olga Goulding (Clyde) of Port Hope, ON, Pearl Caverly (Richard) of St. Chad's, Steve (Gail) of St. John's, Wayne (Wilhelmina) of St. Chad's, Ray (Debbie) of Gander and Kevin (Leigh) of Calgary, AB; her daughter-in-law Donna Martin of St. Chad's; and her niece Francis Pickett (Lesley) of Wareham.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Homes - Eastport (60 Church St, Eastport, NL A0G1Z0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church - Eastport (72 Church St, Eastport, NL A0G1Z0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Cemetery Fund.
