Margaret Agnes (Walsh) Newman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Agnes (Walsh) Newman (Dunville, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Newman of Ship Harbour; her son Stephen Newman; her parents, Gertrude Whelan and Stephen Walsh; and her siblings, Stephen Walsh, Michael Walsh, Agnes Ryan, Betty Wall, Theresa Russell, Bridget Cole, Nicholas Whelan, Francis Whelan, Kieran Whelan and Vincent Whelan.

She is survived by: her children, Leonard (Camilla), Mike (Trish), Kieran (Jessica), Debbie, Geraldine and Sharon; her grandchildren, Shane, Travis, Stephen, Felicia, Priscilla, Gabrielle, Joey, Jeremy, Nicole and April; and her sisters, Mary Edmunds and Helen McHugh. She is also survived by loving mother to her seven children, and an adoring Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
