We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2018, at the age of 82, Emily Louise Young (Dunville, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest; her parents, Henry King and Dinah King; her siblings, Fred King and Ivy Fraize; and her daughter Ann Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Brown (Colin), Stephanie, Jerry (Lorraine), Jim (Donna) and Craig (Faith Flynn); her grandchildren, Andrew (Vicki), David (Genevieve), Christina (Robert Forward), Chad (Alyssa), Jamie, Darryl, Emily, Bradley and Aidan; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Owen. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society . "A wife, a mother, a grandma too. This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all, in one way or another, not just as a wife, not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep."
