It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel George Coombs of Dunville, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his son Robert; his parents, George and Violet (Fitzpatrick); his siblings, Violet Smith, Marie Olsen, Philip and William; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Olsen and Loren Dakus.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Stacey), Bonita (Artie), Patrick (Mary Lou) and Jackie (Robert); his grandchildren, Patrick (Kyla), Michaela, Brandi, Danielle (John) and Ashley (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Willam, Greyson and Scarlet; his siblings, George (Sylvia), Bert, Marion and Francis (Glen); and his brother-in-law Carl Smith. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
