He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Oram and Lottie Oram; his wife June; his daughter Linda; and his brother Eric.

He is survived by: his son Sterling; his children-in-law, Lisa and Tim; his grandsons, Dylan, Cody (Jenna) and Logan; and his siblings, Herbert (Phyllis), John, Garland (Bertha), Avalon (Olive), Dave (Daphne), Nellie, Rita and Lucy.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Home - Dover Wellington (113 Wellington Rd, Dover, NL A0G 1X0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 7 Memorial Dr, Hare Bay, NL A0G2P0.
