With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Shano of Dover, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Janes Collins and Margaret Collins (Boland); her stepfather Edward Oldford (Margaret Collins); her siblings, Ephraim Collins, Ernest Collins, Donald Collins, Flossie Johnson, Rebecca Keats and Nina Squire; and her grandson Ryan Keats.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Shano; her children, Roger (Joy), Donald Jr., David (Karen), Beverly (Eric), Darlene (Shawn) and Karen (Randy); her grandchildren, Melinda, Vanessa, Byron, David, Natasha, Troy and Shanna; her great grandchildren, Miranda, Nicholas, Ashton, Jaxon, Lorren, Christian and Sienna; and her brother James (Jimmy Collins). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
