Woodrow Wilson Gilley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodrow Wilson Gilley (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Gilley and Jenny Gilley; and his siblings, Jim Gilley (Theresa), John Gilley (Florence), Reuben Gilley, Margaret Corbin (Roy) and Marina Pinksen (Leonard Regular).

He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Woodrow Gilley Jr., Wanda McFarlane (Glenn) and Wayne Gilley; his grandchildren, Geena Leigh, Ryan and Arianna; his great grandchild Logan; his brother Stephen Gilley (Evelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Caroline Smith (Jerry), Harry Hinks and Roderick Hinks (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Woodrow to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church.
