Winnie Hodder Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winnie Hodder (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her common-law partner Anthony Chaulk (Tony); the father of her children William L. Hodder; her parents, Elizabeth and Lewis V. Earle; her stepfather William Parsons (Bill); her siblings, Lewis Earle Sr., Mary Olive Earle and Ethel Parsons; and her brothers-in-law, Hiriam Parsons, Edmund Parsons, Wallace Frye, Bayden Mercer, Weldon Parsons, Chris Chaulk and Noel Hodder.

She is survived by: her children, Van Hodder (Darlene), Sherry Pye (Dale) and Jeffrey Hodder (Martyna); her grandchildren, William Hodder (Jasmine), Kyle Hodder (Megan), Renee Steeves (Matthew) and Samantha Steeves (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Tristan Hodder, Zachary Hodder and Deacon Dennis; her sisters, Susie Parsons, Jessie Frye, Betty Mercer (Maxwell), Flora LeDrew (Eddie) and Marjorie Mercer; her sister-in-law Doris Earle; and her nephews, Lewis Earle Jr. and Chester Earle Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
