He was predeceased by: his son John House; his parents, Myrtle House and Hardy House; his brothers, Riley, Stan, Gideon, Maxwell and Oscar; his sisters-in-law, Rita, Maude and Shirley Patey (Wallace); his in-laws, Stanford and Louise Payne; and his brother-in-law Bruce Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nee Payne; his son Byron House (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie), Joshua and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Brandi, Nathan, Ian and Brook-Lyn; his brothers, Bernard House (Myrna) and Roger House (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Ruby, Margaret, Rowena, Greta Newhook (Albert), Thelma Payne and Readdy Payne (Faye).
