It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Power (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Stephen Power to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Power and Angela Power; and his brother Ed. He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Saralynn) and Sarah (Robert); his grandchildren, Jackson, Casey and Max Power; his siblings, Mike (Tina), Sheila (Ron) and Dave (Nola); and his wife Shelley.

You will want to laugh with me..." Services have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home in Deer Lake. The Memorial Service will be a private family affair and during these Covid times there will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers please consider two options, a donation to the Kids Eat Smart Program http://www.kidseatsmart.ca and direct the funds to the CC Loughlin Breakfast Program in memory of Steve Power or perhaps consider the annual scholarship to be created and held in trust for a student at Eric G Lambert School.

“Sorry for your loss, Shelley and family. Steve was a great person. Richard (Dick) and I have many good memories of him when helping me with our WI group learning how to use the computers, playing and singing at the cabin, especially the knitting sessions (lol)., and many other social events.
