He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Yates and William Yates; and his sister Marie Pilgrim. He is survived by: his wife Naomi; his daughters, Janie Powell and Cathy Yates; his grandson Judd Powell of Deer Lake; and his brother-in-law Ernest Pilgrim.
