With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald George Pittman (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), born in Stephenville, Newfoundland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Pittman and Lucy Pittman (Dennis); his adoptive parents, Finton Dennis and Yvonne Dennis (Benoit); his parents-in-law, Leonard and Evelyn Hutchings (Pittman); his siblings, Edna, Rita, Robert, Jordan, Maurice and Joyce Dennis; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin, Richard Hutchings and Daniel Quan.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hutchings; his son Trent Pittman; his siblings, Brad Turpin (Melanie), Allan, Mary, Archie (Ida), Bernard Dennis (Jane), Lori Alexander (Tony), Margaret Quan, Hilda and Joan Peters (George); his siblings-in-law, Isaac (Maureen), Chris, Faron (Kim), Calvin Hutchings, Carrie Murrin (Don), Hattie Emberley (Leo) and Lorraine Muise (Perry); his friend Torbay; and his pet Chester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the 31st Fillatres Funeral Home (10 Clinic Dr, Deer Lake, NL A8A1E3).
