He was predeceased by: his wife Veronica Rodgers; his parents, Olive Rodgers and Silas Rodgers; his siblings, Dave Rodgers and Viola; his brother-in-law Don Carter; his nephew Anthony Carter; his parents-in-law, Mary Caroline Carroll and Jeremiah Carroll; his brother-in-law Stan Carroll; and his pets, Benji, Dusty and Rusty.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Winnie Carroll; his son Wayne Rodgers; his granddaughter Abbey Christine Rodgers; his siblings-in-law, Jerome Carroll and Elsie Pettit (Danny); his great-nephew Kyle Carter (Alisha); his great-niece Erica Carter; his nieces and nephews, Paul Carroll (Lou Ann), Joseph Green (Brandy), Jordan Carroll, Michelle Green and Krista Cooke (Rob); his great-niece Isabel; his great-nephew Andrew Cooke; and his pet Simba.

Due to Covid-19 Government Restrictions a private viewing, invite only, and the virtual live funeral services will be taking place at Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations made to Canadian Red Cross.
