It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ledrew of Deer Lake, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Winston LeDrew; her parents, Priscilla Hebauer and Joseph Hebauer (Preston) of Cambridge; her pet Cindy (Chinese); and her son-in-law Dr. Ivan Chrappa.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bishop (Mac) of Corner Brook and David of Pasadena; her grandson David Brake (Kristy) of Spruce Grove, Alberta; her sister-in-law Daphne Earle of St. John's; her cousin Carl Schmidt of Ontario; her friends, Mona, Frank Luther of Deer Lake, Yonnie, Mickey Walsh of Corner Brook, Willie and Alan Loder of Summerside; and her close friend Laverne Dove Wilton of Pasadena.
