With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Clench (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), born in Belleoram, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her son Lester; her daughter-in-law Donna; her mother Elizabeth; her stepfather William Goobie; her siblings, Elsie Chaytor, Lillias Laite (Jack), Viola Sparkes (Nelson), Jessie Steele (Sam) and Don Goobie (Irene); and her brother-in-law Noah Sheppard.

She is survived by: her daughter Ruby Dinney (John); her grandchildren, Mike Dinney (Jennifer), Greg Dinney Karla Halfyard (Craig) and Laura Clench (Paul); her great grandchildren, Grace, James, Tyson, Sam, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Natalie and Lucy; her sisters, Audrey Stoyles (Wilson), Mary Sheppard and Marjorie Richards; her brother-in-law William Chaytor; and her close friends, Edna Chinn, Herb Hoffe, Linda Goobie and Ester Nyabenda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
