It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Parsons) Brake (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Valance Brake; her significant other George Clarke; her parents, Lucy Parsons and George Parsons; her sisters, Ruby Barnes (Jim) and Rosie Parsons (Don); her sons-in-law, Clyde Earle, Mike Barker and Joe Hovey; and her sisters-in-law, Ivy Parsons and Valsie Parsons.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda Murrin (Freeman), Susan Brake (Aubrey Lee), Elaine Brown (Derek), Millicent Barker, Shelley Roberts, Shawn Brake (Donna Gavin), Derek Brake (Kristina Budisa) and Joseph Norris (Doreen); her siblings, Harvey Parsons, Noble Parsons and Daisy Coughlin; and also Lilly Payne. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
