He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Avaline; his siblings, Ron, George, Austin and Benjamin; his parent-in-law Rita Witmer; his brothers-in-law, Ronald and Lawrence; and also Homer Witmer.
He is survived by: his wife Goldie; his children, Debbie (Larry), David (Cathy), Dianna, Derrick (Glenda) and Dion (Michele); his siblings, Daisy and Bob; his close friends, Derek Walkins, Edna Walkins, Herb Hewitt and Viola Hewitt; and also Marcella. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
