He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Brace and Simeon Brace; his father-in-law Leslie Gale; his brother Allen; his in-laws, Theresa, Eric and Adriano; and his nephews, Wade, Rob and Jeff.

He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Tanya (Gord), Sonya (Dwayne) and Matthew (Alicia); his grandchildren, Hannah, Mason, Cassandra, Abigail and Nate; his siblings, Max, Eva, Dulcie, Marion and Edna (Carl); and his mother-in-law Carrie Gale. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Anglican Church (21 Farm Rd, Deer Lake, NL A8A1V1).
