John Henry Hinks Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 82, John Henry Hinks of Deer Lake, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Henry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Henry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hinks and Marion Hinks; his brothers, Karl and Maurice; and his brother-in-law Woodrow Gilley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Shelia Gilley, Caroline Smith (Jerry) and Rod (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
