It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Glode (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his son John; his son-in-law Larry; his parents, James and Myrtle; his sisters, June and Florence; his nephews, Cody and Johnny; his niece Serena; his mother-in-law Frances; and his siblings-in-law, Norman, Max, Jim, Les, Alb, Don, Rupert, Brenda, Nina and Bonnie.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer and Kurt; his grandchildren, Chantelle and Jonathan; his sisters, Cavelle (Purley), Lisa (Jimmy), Mona and Wannie; and his siblings-in-law, Phoebe, Lillian (Harold), Phyllis, Rowena (Ivar), Alfred and Wayne (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
