It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Decker (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), born in Woodstock, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Decker and Stella Decker; his son Kevin; his parents-in-law, Garland and Alice Saunders; and his siblings-in-law, Nina Decker, Audrey Saunders and Guy Mitchell (Ann).

He is survived by: his wife Christine Saunders; his children, Glenda Decker (Gordon), Brian Decker (Kimberly) and Michael Decker (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Bethann, Cody, Alexander and Miriam; his siblings, Winston Decker, Gary Decker (Maxine), Joseph Decker (Anne), Ann Mitchell (David), Kay Sacrey (Zach), Sharon Sullivan (Bill), Ted Decker (Elaine), Boyd Decker (Patricia), Jacqueline Decker, Judy Canning (Dennis) and Janice Drover (Freddie); and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Saunders (Beatrice), Calvin Saunders (Barbara), Lewis Saunders (Loretta) and Ross Saunders. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations came be made to The Salvation Army.
