She was predeceased by: her son Ivan; her parents, Dexter John and Annie Belle Williams; her parents-in-law, Sandy and Minnie Short; her siblings, Cyril Williams, Bronson Williams, Alex Williams, Marion Williams and Ethel Crews; her siblings-in-law, Maisie Williams, Eric Short, Victor Burton, Tommy Crews and Cecil Roberts; her children-in-law, Gerald Sceviour, Melvin Thomas and Irene Short; and her great grandchild Isla Short.
She is survived by: her children, Pauline Thomas, Mamie Kippenhuck (Calvin), Melvin Short (Maxine), Bronson Short, Lillian Anstey (Winston), Wade Short (Theresa), Aubrey Short (Lorraine), Nancy Pilgrim (Baine) and Roger Short (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Michael, Leona, Trevor, Cortez, Heather, Michelle, Melissa, Sherri-Lynn, Debra-Lee, Matthew, Jo-Ellen, Jonathan, Charlaine, Charles, Shandel, Sarah, Stetson, Kamea, Lawrence, Madison, Olivia and Ashlyn; her great grandchildren, Emily, Sophia, Daniel, Charlee, Makenna, Makenzie, Isaiah, Georgia, Hayden, Zachariah, Mahaila, Maxwell, Samara, Charlotte, Frankie, Sophie, Benjamin, Macy, Gavin, Ethan, Sydney, Ashton, Drake, Kaley, Kate, Jay, Jonah, Noah, Karlee, Kenzie, Michael and Caleb; her great great grandchild William; her siblings, Howard Williams (Jean), Violet Roberts, Bruce Williams (Patsy), Christine Caines (Clarence) and Peggy Pardy (Winston); and her sisters-in-law, Lulu Williams, Beryl Williams, Effie Short and Nancy Burton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
In keeping with the most recent Covid –19 guidelines, a private invitation-only celebration service will take place at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church at 2:00 pm on Monday January 10th, 2022, with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating.
