It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence John Robbins of Deer Lake, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Riles (Riles); his grandson Liam; his mother Johanna Jacobs; his uncle Ben Robbins; his sister Elsie Adams; his grandchildren, Kianna, Ethan, Will and Gabrielle; and his close friend Sybil Harris.
He is survived by: his sons, John (Vanessa) and Carl (Nancy); and his siblings, Doreen Jacobs, Lester Jacobs (Theresa), Ches Jacobs (Pam), Russ Jacobs (Debbie), Alvin Jacobs (Sharon), Ivy Dean (Melvin), Jeanette Boutcher (Dave), Maxine Beck (Melbourne) and Terry Jacobs (Michelle). He is also survived by members of the Riles family; and a large circle of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1).
