He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Halfyard and Stanley Halfyard; his parents-in-law, Walter and Rachel Anstey; and his siblings, Marie Young, Cora Rowsell, Jessie Baker and Noel Halfyard.
He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Glenda Carter (Jack), Frank Halfyard (Delores), Rick Halfyard (Debbie), Cathy Hounsell (Barry), Tina Thomas (Bill) and Shelley Halfyard; his grandchildren, Tracy Major, Terry Carter, Monica Rideout, Megan Roberts, Ricky Halfyard, Sheldon Vickers, Mark Halfyard, Micheal Halfyard, Kendra Nichols and Tiffany Ryan; and his brother Wilfred Halfyard (Linda).
