He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline House and Gus House; his parents-in-law, Mary Alice and Fred Brown; his daughter-in-law Heather House; his siblings, Clayton House (Mary), Flora Bennett (Stanley), Winnie Perry (Howard), Rillie Hull (Jack) and Doris Payne (Clayton); and his siblings-in-law, Adrian Brown and Bernice House (Stewart).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Llewellyn and Faron (Janet); his grandchildren, Anne Warr (Kenny), Trisha House and Ryan House (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Claire Warr, Clay House and Chloe House; his sister-in-law Hughena Bennett (Fraser); and also Larry (Myrna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1).
