It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Pittman (Deer Lake, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Travis Pittman; her parents, Gertie Hewlin and Jesse Hewlin; her parents-in-law, Norman and Elsie Pittman; her siblings, Ida Payne (Reg), Irene Hutchings (Ralph), Beulah White (Claude), Cecilia Hewlin, Jim Hewlin and Alma Roberts; and her brothers-in-law, Lorne Pittman, Harvey Pittman and Richard Payne.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Pittman; her daughters, Verna Legge (Jim), Clara Payne (Robert) and Angela Higgins (Charles); her grandchildren, Tim Legge (Rachel), Chris Legge (Sherry), Carl Marks, Stephen Marks (Candace Marshall) and Shantel Higgins (Joshua Haggstrom); her great grandchildren, Noah Legge (Katelynn Parsons), Hannah Legge (Summer Burrage), Ethan Legge, Duncan Legge, Dawson Marks, Erika Marks, Christian Mckay and Shayla McKay; her sister-in-law Paulette Hewlin; her brother Frank Hewlin (Sandra); and her siblings-in-law, Calvin Roberts, Coyley Pittman (Geraldine), Laud Pittman (Irene), Alonzo Pittman, Roddie Pittman (Glenda), Sadie House (Hubert), Lucy Payne and Velma Pittman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
