He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Stapleton and Mildred Stapleton. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Greeley; his daughters, Robyn Stapleton (Jeremy), Vicki Stapleton (Luke) and Evelyn Stapleton; his stepsons, Darren Cutler (Lee) and James Greeley; his grandchildren, Sarah Coady and Gavin Coady; his siblings, Wanda Bonnell (Wade), Kevin Stapleton (Darlene), Wayne Stapleton (Mary), Keith Stapleton (Ruth) and Terry Stapleton (Terrylyn); and his close friends, ELi, Donnie Stacey, David Stacey, Karl Hodge, Max King and Herb Monster. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 social distancing and masks are required, with a maximum of 20 people at one time.

In Gary's memory donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or flowers gratefully accepted.
