It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Alfreda Hussey (Coxs Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Hussey Jr.; her mother Polly; her grandparents, Simon and Amy Park; and her aunt Alfreda.
She is survived by: her significant other Terry Matthews; her son Dusty; her daughter-in-law Tamara; her grandson Liam; her cousin Elvis Park (Heather); her friend Tony Wilton; and also, Millicent, Lorraine, Jean, Marlain and Linda.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church (63 Main St, Cox's Cove, NL A0L1C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Nicholas Anglican Cemetery (63 Main St, Cox's Cove, NL A0L1C0).
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Karen's memory to the St. Nicholas Anglican Church Fund.
