He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Violet (Myrtle); and his siblings, Madeline (Eric) and Gower. He is survived by: his children, Eugene (Hilda), Dona, Morgan (Sherry) and Dale (Wesley); his grandchildren, Pamela, Jeremy, Peter, Myah and Alex; his great grandchildren, Chayse, Nate, Jayden and Parker; and his siblings, Beatrice (Eric), Jerry (Christine), Peter (Doreen), William and Yvonne (Anthony).

Donations in Douglas' memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Society.
