He was predeceased by: his daughter Trina Wheeler; his parents, John Wheeler and Winifred Wheeler; and his siblings, Jack, Bill, Alice, Violet and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Emily; his children, Rick Wheeler (Lynne), Darrell Wheeler (Lisa), Michelle Wheeler (Jim) and Michael Wheeler; his grandchildren, Kristian, Evan, Emily, Mitchell and Matthew; his sisters, Louise Squires, Gloria Pynn and Greta Snook; and his friends, Dave (Velma) and Hubert (Beverley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
