He was predeceased by: his son Elliott (Marion); and his parents, Patrick Gallant and Adeline Gallant. He is survived by: his daughter Sara Gardner (Adam); his granddaughters, Kallie and Kenzie; his wife Nora McCarthy; his stepdaughter Amanda Merrigan (Jeff); his stepgranddaughter Lilah; and his siblings, Dan (Josephine), Howard, Pat (Gloria), Les (Mary), Gord (Paula), Charlie (Nadine), Vince, Matilda Ball, Genevieve Bennett, Rose George (Isaac), Mary Ellen Gilbert (Doug), Pauline Russell (Dave), Maggie Bennett (Jason) and Hynes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
