He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleazar and Prescilla; and his brother Lester. He is survived by: his significant other Una Lewis; his pet Benji; his children, Judy Brake (Bob) of Ontario, Brenda Vincent (Helmut) of Ontario, Paulette Brake (Darren) of Corner Brook, Sharon McGown (Kerry) of Ontario, Thomas Vincent (Christine) of Whitehorse, David Vincent (Franora) of California and Eric Lewis (Marion) of Ontario; his grandchildren, Crystal, Mindy, Bobbi, Leila, Ryan, Emerson, Patrick, Allison, Nadine, Dana, Jonathan, Andy, Jason, Amber and Marty; his siblings, Kathleen MacMillan of Ontario, Marion Windsor of St. John's and William (Marie) of Newtown; his sister-in-law Violet of Newtown; his sisters, Winnie (William), Nellie (Noah) and Evelyn (Raymond); and his brothers-in-law, Charles and Robert. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to Covid 19 health regulations currently in place, the family will be having a private viewing on Monday, Feb 1, 2021, from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook from where also the funeral will take place on Tuesday, Feb 2, 2021, with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating.
