It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Anna Gillam (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Spencer Gillam; her mother Mary Margaret Maghetta (Polly); her sisters, Shirley Fillatre (William) and Jocelyn Rogers; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Short, Una Hulan (Rodney) and Gladys Clare (Gordon).

She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta (Clowie), Rolfe (David) and Gail Gillam Campbell (John); her grandchildren, Zach Rolfe, Eve, Mackenzie Campbell, Spencer Campbell and Madison Campbell; her siblings, Allison Hulan (Theresa), Avery Hulan (Lorna), Duncan Hulan (Phyllis), Gordon Hulan (Rosemary), Daniel Hulan (Elizabeth), Sharon MacDonald (Leo) and Katherine Rogers (Owen); and her mother-in-law Rachel Mckay. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family will come together in the summer of this year in Mckays, Newfoundland to honour Sylvia's life and passing…when COVID restrictions allow.

As an expression of sympathy, if one so chooses donations may be made to the Saint George's Anglican Church, Robinson's (Memorial Fund).
