We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2021, at the age of 101, Stella Ruth Jane Hancock in Corner Brook, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald; her parents, Suzanna Davis and Gilbert Davis; and her great grandchild Megan. She is survived by: her children, Clayton (Edith) of Corner Brook, Lorne (Judy) of Corner Brook and Greta (late Alton) of Pasadena; and her grandchildren, Gerry, Darren, Jonathan, Tiffany, Lori, Ron, Denise, Danielle, Debbie and Tom. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren. as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday August 5, from 7-9 pm to a maximum of 30 people at a time, in compliance with Covid-19 regulations, masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
