She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Strickland and William Strickland; her stepmother Gladys Bride Keough; and her brothers, Raymond, Tony, Terry and Wayne.
She is survived by: her husband Henri Richard; her children, Andre Richard and Ashley (Ben); her stepfather Mike Keough; her brother Fred Strickland; her stepsiblings, Trudi Gill (Paul Pike), Michael Keough (Marjorie), Lori Rubia (Randell) and Julia Asae (Darin); and her siblings-in-law, John Jr. Rubinich (Emily Sarah), Guy Richard (Ada), Madeline Loveless (Merlin), Michelle Richard, Janette Rubinich-Hussey (Tony) and Antoniette "Toni" Plamondon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Sharon's memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
