He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel Crocker; his parents, Guy Crocker and Maud Crocker; his daughter Peggy Brewer; his son-in-law Ronald Brewer; and his sister Edith Leonard.
He is survived by: his close friend Frances Brake; his children, Gail Brittain (Bernie), Kenneth Crocker (JoAnn), Sandra Crocker (Juanita Walsh) and Robert Crocker (Donna); his grandchildren, Jillienne (Joel), Meghen, Sarah, Dannielle (Philip), Ryan (Kelly), Peter (Meaghan), Hillari (John), Julia, Kathleen (Bradley), Michael and Emily (Zac); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jorja, Teagan, Isabel, Amelia, Reid and Zenaida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Selwyn's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
