He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Dawn (Ryan Pitts) and Mark (Brenda Rodway); the mother of his children Maureen Gough; his sister Zellah Battiste; his brother-in-law Eric Blakely; his parents, Ida and Selby Sr.; his sister Laura "Babe" Blakely; his brother-in-law Joe Battiste; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Peggy Gardner; and his cousin Glenn Gough.
