She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Carter and Sarah Carter; her grandson Brennan Taylor Karas; her sister Betty Reeve; her niece Susan Harnett; and her pets, Charlie and Clover Taylor.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eleni Anastasia Karas, Steven William Karas, Michaela Anne-Elizabeth Taylor and Eleanor Michelle Taylor; and her siblings, Violet Gregory (Greg), Audrey Carberry (Ross), Bernice Brenner (John) and Reg Carter (Sharon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
