He was predeceased by: his parents, James William LaFosse and Bertha Durnford; his stepfather John Philip Durnford; his parents-in-law, Jessie and Ronald Fudge; his siblings, Evelyn Durnford and Eric Durnford; and his daughter-in-law Sherry LaFosse.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Christine), Lee (Sonia Barter), Cindy Sheppard (Myles), Beverly Farrell (Danny), Tompkins and Coady (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Christopher LaFosse (Jeanette), David LaFosse, Madison, Jake Sheppard, Jessie Farrell, Charlie Farrell, Nicholas and Benjamin LaFosse; his stepgrandchildren, Damien Barter (Valerie) and Stephanie Benoit (Corey); his brothers, Philip Durnford (Rosemary), Jack Durnford and Alexander Durnford; his brothers-in-law, Riley Durnford, George Fudge (Doris) and Ronald Fudge (Linda); his sister Sadie Macalen; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Durnford, Rose Young (Henry) and Bernice Greene (Aubrey). He is also survived by family members and friends, including friends.
