He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Delaney and Joseph Delaney; his siblings, Ben, Mona, Theresa and Leona; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Simms, Wade Turner, Ludrick Crane and Eugene McCarthy.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie (Steve), Teena, Basil and Gwen (Jimmy); his siblings, Ethel Barnes (Curtis), Anne Simms, Rhodena Delaney (Walter Lewis), Joseph Delaney, Gloria Turner and George Delaney (Sharon); his brother-in-law Tim Newman; and his aunt Mercedes Wells. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
