He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Laing and Susan Laing; and his sister Deborah. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Pam) and Justin; his grandchildren, Logan and Myla; his siblings, Gary (Linda), Bill (Betty), Jim (Joan), Junior (Natalie), Shirley (Mick), Sue (Gary) and Karen (Rick); and his brother-in-law Norm Gilley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Robert's memory to a charity of one's choice.
