Robert Keith Mercer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Keith Mercer (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mercer and Jean Buffett Mercer Whyte; his stepfather Ron Whyte; and his stepsiblings, Rex White (Daisy), Olive Adderley (Jack) and Beverley Neal (George).

He is survived by: his sister Joan Spares (Sam) of Oakville, ON; his nieces, Stephanie Spares of Oakville, ON, Heather Spares (Roger Gumbau Brisa) of Sydney, NS, Denise Spares, Paralowie and Barb White (Rod) of Corner Brook, NL; and his close friends, Dave and Gwen Alcock of Mount Pearl, NL.. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the First United Church, or the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
