It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Leona Connolly (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel and Violet Greene; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Gertrude Connolly; her siblings, Della Rosa Greene, Mary Jones (Kevin), George Greene and Dominic Greene (Barb); and her siblings-in-law, Bridget Greene and Stephen Christopher.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Connolly; her children, Joanne Connolly, Michael Connolly (Berdina), Clarence Connolly (Penny), Keith Connolly and Paulette Benoit (Allan); her grandchildren, Sarah Connolly, Christian Connolly (Brittany), Marissa McKenzie, Brenna Connolly and Matthew Benoit; her siblings, Mercedes Christopher, Frances Newman (Michael) and Ronald Greene; and her sister-in-law Genevieve Greene. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
