He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Brake and Marjorie Brake; his siblings, Donnie, Rhode, Jerry and Mabel Ryan; and his brother-in-law Ed Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Brake (Paula) and Sharon Snook (Lee); his grandchildren, Julia, Olivia, Maya, Leah, Raymond and Colin; his sisters, Grace and Alvina (Herb); and his friend Brian Elliott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
